Parents for Megan’s Law Honors Frank Shea

Alpha Group Investigations President,  Frank Shea was recognized as an honoree by the Parents for Megan’s Law, Crime Victims Center, during the annual 2016 Champion for Children and Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Awards Gala. On Thursday, December 8th, 2016 Mr. Shea was presented with the distinguished honors, in company with fellow law enforcement leaders, elected officials and members of the US Armed forces. Frank Shea expressed his gratitude and admiration to the dedicated members of the organization.

Shea was in good company as the evening’s honorary guest, alongside of Babylon’s Town Supervisor, Richard H. Schaeffer. Awards were also presented to Suffolk County Legislator, Kate Browning, Senator Tom Croci, Legislator Kara Hahn, Legislator Thomas Muratore and Nassau County Legislature Presiding Officer, Norma Gonsalves. US Marine Corps and FDNY firefighter, Major Jason C. Brezler was presented with the Patriot Award.

The Non-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse and rape, the provision of services to victims of violent crime, and elderly, disabled and minor victims of all crime. Violence directed against victims is an abuse of power, often directed at our most vulnerable, and must be met with unwavering resolve to hold perpetrators accountable, and provide victims with the support and services they need. Parents for Megan’s Law and the Crime Victims Center is committed to informing victims of their rights, involving them in the decision making process, securing crime victim compensation to which they are entitled and treating every victim with respect and dignity.
